Global hotkeys, four modes
Select text anywhere and rewrite it as a question, a clean sentence, a polished paragraph, or with grammar-only fixes - your selection is replaced in place and your clipboard is restored afterwards.
Floating selection widget
After a mouse selection, a small button bar appears near your cursor - like Grammarly - without stealing focus. Toggle it from the tray, or exclude specific apps while hotkeys keep working everywhere.
Main workspace window
Type or paste text and rewrite without any selection. Chain rewrites (fix grammar, then expand), and revisit this session's history - including rewrites made via hotkeys or the widget.
Bring your own AI
Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, Mistral, DeepSeek, any OpenAI-compatible endpoint - or Ollama / LM Studio for free, fully local rewriting with no API key.
Private by design
API keys live in Windows Credential Manager, never in plain-text files. No telemetry, no analytics, no account. Rewrite history is in-memory only, and with a local model no text ever leaves your PC.
Power-user config
Tune hotkey combos, copy/paste timing, widget timeout, model, and max tokens in a JSON config file, and apply most changes live from the tray without restarting.

Getting started
Up and running in about two minutes
Everything important, in three steps - no account, no setup wizard.

Install in seconds
Download ReQuill-Setup.exe and run it - no admin rights needed. If Windows SmartScreen warns about an unrecognized app, click "More info" then "Run anyway" (the pre-release build isn't code-signed yet).

Connect your AI
Right-click the tray icon, open "AI provider & API keys...", paste your key, and click "Test connection". Prefer local? Pick Ollama or LM Studio - free, no key, nothing leaves your PC.

Rewrite anywhere
Select text in any app and press Ctrl+Alt+Q / S / P / G - or click the floating widget that appears after a mouse selection. Your text is rewritten in place and your clipboard is restored.
