About Appesto

A small studio building software we'd actually use

We're a tiny team obsessed with the details - the typography, the empty states, the way a button feels when you press it.

Care for craft

Our story

Built quietly, with care

The problem

How we started

Appesto began as a side project between a few engineers and designers who kept building the same login screens, billing flows, and dashboards over and over. We thought: what if we built that foundation once, and then put our energy into the products people actually use?

The work

What we make

Today, Appesto is a small collection of focused tools. Each one solves a specific problem we ran into ourselves, polished until it felt right. We'd rather ship a few things we love than a long list of things we don't.

The vision

Who we build for

We make software for makers, operators, and small teams - people who care about their craft and want tools that respect their time. If that sounds like you, we hope something in our suite earns a place in your workflow.

What we believe

The principles that guide us

We don't have a long list of company values printed on a wall. These four ideas are the ones we genuinely come back to when we're making decisions.

Clarity over cleverness

Good software disappears. We design tools that get out of your way so the work can take center stage.

Craft as a default

Every interaction, every empty state, every loading spinner is a chance to show care. We try not to skip them.

Trust by design

Privacy and security aren't features bolted on at the end - they shape the architecture from the first commit.

Curious, then decisive

We explore widely, listen carefully, and then pick a direction. Indecision is a tax on the team and the product.

How we work

Small team, deliberate pace

We work in short cycles, ship when something is genuinely ready, and try not to confuse motion with progress. Most of our best ideas come from talking to the people who use what we make - so we keep that channel wide open.

We're remote-first, asynchronous by default, and allergic to unnecessary meetings. The work itself is the point.
